SMJ - Playwright
(they/them) is a mixed-Latiné and non-binary playwright, educator, & theatermaker originally from Mount Vernon, OH. They were a 2022-2023 Dramatists Guild Foundation Fellow. Currently, SMJ is creating work with Ars Nova, Latinx Playwrights Circle, The Orchard Project, and The Road Theatre Company. Their work has been seen in various forms at the Eugene O’Neill Theater Center, New York Stage and Film, Lincoln Center, National Queer Theater, Latiné Musical Theatre Lab, Carnegie Mellon University, Otterbein University, Wright State University, New York University, Art House Productions, Andy's Summer Playhouse, The Workshop Theater, The 24 Hour Plays. SMJ has been a semifinalist for the O’Neill’s National Playwrights Conference (three times), Princess Grace Award at New Dramatists, and Van Lier New Voices Fellowship as well as a Finalist for the 2024 June Bingham New Playwright Commission, 2023 Parity Development Award, Write Out Loud Contest, and the Doric Wilson Playwright Award. (they/them) is an nonbinary, NYC-based actor who is so thrilled to be here! NYC work includes: SLEEPY HOLLOW (Players Theatre), ROMEO AND JULIET (Match: Lit); and originating roles in THE OTHER OTHER WOMAN, (Turn to Flesh Prod.), ALL ONE FOREST (Barefoot Shakespeare); THE COWARD, THE TRAGICAL HISTORIE OF MAXIMILIEN ROBESPIERRE (workshop, The Fled Collective), and the new musical LADIES' LADY. Lydia Brinkmann (she/her) is a lighting designer, dramaturg, and performer from Cincinnati, Ohio. She is currently a resident lighting technician for Frigid Theater New York and the Brooklyn Comedy Collective. She is a member of Theater Anywhere, a traveling technical company for unconvential theater spaces. Previous credits include Faustine (The Spade), The Jeweler's Shop (Arthouse 2B), Homunculous (IRT), SODA (Framhand Productions), Arranged (Theater 71), Doom Tank (Under St. Marks), Conspiracy Plays (The Tank), Love, Fantasy, and Euphoria (Shades Dance Co.), BKLYN the Musical (Baruch NY), and Ulysses Missa (Teatro Latea).
Emily/Bubeck - Director
(She/her/hers) is a Queer, Catholic, Appalachian theatre practitioner who enjoys facilitating the development and consumption of new works by traditionally underrepresented artists. She is especially drawn to projects that allow us to expand our ideas on how we tell stories and who those stories serve. Bubeck is a co-founder and co-artistic director of Breaking & Entering Theatre Collective, a community based, indie ensemble committed to breaking down the gatekeepers in the Theater Industry. She’s been NYC based for the past 6 years, serving the downtown & Indie theater scene as a stage manager, production manager and freelance producer; collaborating on projects at LaMama ETC, The Players Theater, the New Ohio, Dixon Place, The Fled Collective, Ars Nova and more. By day Emily is the Development Associate at New Dramatists, where she is proud to raise funds to support the future of American storytelling. (she/they) is a director, designer, and stage manager. She is a resident artist with Breaking & Entering Theatre Collective and supporting artist with CO/LAB Theater Group. Natalie Myrick -
is a Brooklyn-based actor/musician/writer. Since graduating from UNC Chapel Hill, her focus has been on new works in development. Natalie has performed regionally and Off-Off Broadway, created theatre for young audiences in South Korea, composed music performed at 54 Below and Joe’s Pub, and played in a classic rock band on an Alaskan cruise ship. Sarah Norcross - Sound Designer
she/her is a New York-based composer, music director, and sound designer. Her work as a sound designer has been previously heard at The Tank, The Spade, Adult Film, and Columbia University. Her work as a composer and music director has been seen in the Polyphone Festival for New Musicals, the Philadelphia Fringe Festival, Catholic University of America, Rev Theatre Co, The Tank, Spark Festival, and others. She currently designs through her theater tech company, Theater Anywhere. She loves it all.

Kristan Seemal - Stage Manager
came up in the theater working on new plays, serving as dramaturg on a score of premiere productions and developmental workshops in Portland, Oregon where he worked for almost a decade. He is passionate about new writing and his directing projects include many recent premieres by Idris Goodwin, Mallery Avidon and Ed Himes. Kristan co-produces SERIALS, newly at The Tank, a project he has been involved with for over a decade where all the best artists of the NYC Indie Theater Party come together every couple of months to reignite invention in storytelling. He is always on the hunt for novel ways to make original theater--drop him a line with your idea.
Claire Tumey - Stage Directions
(She/Her/Hers) is an emerging writer, actor, and theatrical facilitator based out of Brooklyn, NY. She graduated from the University of Evansville in 2019 with a BFA in Theatre Performance, and is currently pursuing a Master's Degree in Applied Theatre from the City University of New York School of Professional Studies. Natalia Mar Urzua - Calico Jack and Fight Choreographer
(they/she/he) is a Latine actor, writer, combatant, and D&D enthusiast based in Brooklyn. Recent work includes Gamepiece and the Dealer’s Choice Festival with the Spade Collective, Fucked-Up Play Fest, Taking the Plunge (Kaia), Romeo and Juliet (Tybalt/Paris/Friar), and the developing Latine musical The Boogie Down Gospel (multiple roles). They are a recurring performer in Serials at The Tank.
